It happens all the time. My husband "can't find" something. He "looks" for whatever it is that is "lost" for one minute and gives up. When it's my turn, I can always find the "missing" object within a matter of seconds.
Today it was honey. It is on a rare occasion that my husband cooks and today was one of those occasions. His recipe called for honey.
hubs: Where is the honey? I can't find the honey.
me: It's on the counter.
hubs: Can you be more specific?
me: It's to the left of the sink.
hubs: I can't find it anywhere.
me: (after getting up off of my comfy spot on the couch) It's right here! Right where I said it was!
hubs: That's honey? I was looking for a bear.
me: NOT ALL HONEY COMES IN A BEAR!
